STUDENTS
As of May, 2009, the total number of students studying under these programs is 10,291. The University also offers admission to foreign students provided that they must fulfill the conditions for admission. Interested foreign students need to apply through their respective diplomatic missions in Bangladesh. The missions then shall have to forward the applications to the Ministry of Education via the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh for onward transmission to Islamic University, Kushtia, Bangladesh. The University will finalize the process in terms of eligibility through the respective Admission Committee.
FEES AND FINANCE
Students take admission to the University on payment of tuition and other fees as determined by the University authority. The residential students of different halls also need to pay seat rent and other charges fixed by the authority. The Government of Bangladesh provides the University with budgets, both revenue and development, for running academic programs and building physical infrastructures.
STIPENDS/SCHOLARSHIPS
A number of organizations/institution offer stipend/scholarship for the meritorious students of the University.

AFFILIATED PROGRAMS
The Fazil and Kamil madrasahs in the country run their Undergraduate (Fazil) and Graduate (Kamil) programs under administrative and academic guidance and supervision of Islamic University.
