Central Library

The Library and Information Service of the University is an invaluable resource for the students and scholars. Students and visitors alike can take advantage of the facilities. Qualified and experienced personnel work closely to ensure that the most relevant material is available for the use of students. The library includes a large collection of books covering all the disciplines of the University and over 15,000 journals. Library users may ask for help or advice from the library staff at the Help Desk on how to get the most from the available sources. There are also photocopy facilities for the library users. Apart from the central library, there are several departmental libraries, which supplement its holdings and complement it by offering more specialized materials. Implementation of a system to provide the library users with electronic access to valuable resources is in the active consideration of the University’s authority.
