HollandPTC: tour of the building design

The architectural design of HollandPTC combines a patient friendly surrounding, in which daylight and vegetation play important roles. The compact building, designed by dJGA architects and engineers, houses both optimal treatment facilities and provisions for research. The building design is the result of detailed discussions between the architects and all future user groups, such as physicians, radiation therapists, and nurses. Feedback from other cancer care professionals and patients has been taken into account as well. The proton therapy technology will be supplied by Varian Medical Systems.
