I’m Building A Jointer! – Bearing Studs And Design Details

Installing the 1/4″ threaded rod studs that will bolt the bearing blocks in place and a detailed look at the design as it is so far.
The outfeed table will be more or less fixed in place, but can be adjusted if needed. The infeed will move up and down via an inclined plane driven by a hand wheel on the side of the jointer.
The inclined plane mechanism is similar to the one in my precision router lift:
